In the third episode, Dante King is joined by Dr. Rachelle Rogers-Ard and Yvette Mari Robles for a wide-ranging discussion. They examine the psychology of Blackness, advocating for the need to see, value, and uplift Black people beyond the restrictive tools, values, and measures of American society. Topics such as colorism and its impacts on Blackness, Whiteness, race, and racism are also explored, as well as the ways in which Black people and other non-White groups have internalized the illnesses of White supremacy, anti-non-Whiteness, and anti-Blackness. The panel also addresses the dangers of confronting and challenging White supremacy head-on.
